Product

Five steps. One recorded result.

Drawvia takes a list, selects without replacement, and keeps a record of what completed.

01

Upload

A draw starts from a CSV of eligible entries. Equal Chance needs an identifier column. Weighted Chance needs an identifier and a weight. The product stores a SHA-256 fingerprint of the file you uploaded.

02

Validate

Before a draw runs, Drawvia counts valid entries and duplicates. You see whether the file is ready. The sample here is 100,000 valid rows and no duplicates.

  • 0 duplicates

03

Configure

Pick Equal Chance or Weighted Chance, then the number of winners. Plans that include prize groups can split that one selection into named groups. The method is fixed when the draw is created.

04

Draw

The selection runs on the server, using a cryptographic random source. Nothing in the browser animation chooses a winner. A completed draw returns the same stored result if it is opened again.

Selection path. The server records the result.

05

Record

The result can include a winners file, an audit report, a certificate, and a public verification page. Each of those is available only on plans that include it.

Two ways to weight a draw.

Selection is without replacement. A winner cannot be selected twice within the same draw. Drawvia does not expand a weighted entry into extra ticket rows.

Equal Chance

Every eligible entry has the same weight.

  • A
  • B
  • C
  • D
  • E

CSV Identifier

Weighted Chance

Entries can carry different relative weights.

  • A1
  • B5
  • C20
  • D2

Bar height follows the weight in this example. It is an illustration, not a live draw.

Prize groups share one selection.

In this example, 26 winners are selected once and then assigned in group order: 1, then 5, then 20. Reordering the groups before the draw changes which positions each group receives. It does not run a new draw for each prize.

Prize groups are included on Professional, Business, and Enterprise.

The file fingerprint identifies the upload. The verification fingerprint identifies the recorded facts and the ordered result. A certificate is a printable view of that record. Public verification lets someone open the recorded result when the plan includes it.

Verification confirms that this record corresponds to the completed draw recorded by the service. It does not independently verify the source population or inputs supplied before the draw.
